A project currently in the works, combining 2D animation with 3D modeling. The mech is modeled in 3D and rigged to allow for movement, and the camera pans in a 3D space over what will be a texture plane. The character is animated in 2D, as are any visual effects, and the ground will have action lines and strokes added to sell the 3D motion while maintaining the 2D look.
