"Get to the Mech!"

A project combining 2D animation with 3D modeling. The mech is modeled in 3D and rigged to allow for movement (although this functionality never wound up being used in the final version of the scene). The environment is made up of various image planes arranged in a 3D space to give the illusion of a 3D background, including various grass image planes to give the ground more depth. The character is animated in 2D, as are any and all visual effects.
